Babette Hunter

Originally from Springville, Iowa, Babette started dancing at age 3. After high school she joined BalletMet as a trainee, studying under Edwaard Liang and Timothy Lynch. She then joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee, performing in Robert Mills’ Sleeping Beauty. In 2017, Babette joined Fort Wayne Ballet and has performed roles such as the Stepmother in Cinderella, works from Gerald Arpino including Light Rain and Italian Suites, Dew Drop from the Nutcracker, Little Swans from Swan Lake, and several pieces from Tracy Tritz including Bolero and the Weird Sisters in Dracula. Babette is looking forward to her fifth season with Fort Wayne Ballet.
